Social involvement

Community life on a small Moshav requires a considerable degree of social involvement and sensitivity, especially where there is a blend of veteran and newer residents.

To improve life here, we have personally volunteered to initiate and run educational and cultural activities.

Involvement in communal life, concern for others and a commitment to helping each other are guiding principles in our outlook as a community.

Several members of the community worked together to set up a Mechina (pre-army one-year program) in Aderet, which is open to both religious and secular young men and women. Mechinah students are involved in Moshav life, visit families regularly, and greatly enrich our community with their energy and talents.
